It's NO SURPRISE that people stay stuck between following their heart (committing fully to practicing and teaching slow, mindful yoga) and succumbing to the well-traveled fitness yoga path.

Back in the mid 90s, when I was just starting out, I was SO uncool. I loved teaching slow, mindful yoga; but the hot, sweaty stuff was so trendy.

Still, I soldiered on. I intuitively understood that what I taught was incredibly beneficial, but I didn't know how to explain it to others in a straightforward, understandable way.

I felt isolated - like a weird, misfit yoga teacher.

And, although I had some great training, I didn’t have a true mentor or expert to turn to for guidance. 

So, I started collecting research, studying the brain, and trying to figure out what was happening during slow, mindful, yoga practice.

What I learned made me feel so totally validated!

To say this intense period of study opened my eyes would be a huge understatement. 

It rocked my world.

I began to feel incredibly confident and proud of what I taught. Soon, I was able to expand my business and build a solid following of students - including many yoga teachers and healthcare professionals, from all over the world.

Fast forward.

I love slow, mindful yoga and I want more people to be able to experience its benefits. Now my mission is to help YOU - teachers and practitioners of slow, mindful yoga - be able to practice and promote the neuroscientific benefits of slow, mindful yoga - quickly and easily. 

But I don’t want you to have it figure it out alone, like I did, it was scary and I was unsure every step of the way. Instead, I want you to have the mentorship of a world class expert and be part of a supportive, innovative, like-minded community who are always ready to help you learn and grow.

I’ve been teaching yoga since 1995 and training yoga teachers since 2003.

I learned yoga as a young person and it opened up a profound solution to my anxiety and depression.

Who is The Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society for? Is it just for yoga teachers?

No! It's for yoga students, yoga enthusiasts, yoga teachers, mental health professionals and anyone interested in building resilience using slow, mindful yoga.

Will I be able to ask questions and get them answered?

Absolutely! Our wonderful community will step in and answer most of your questions almost immediately and if you need a particularly technical or science-related question answered, Kristine, or someone on our team, will help you out. 

Will I be able to get help accessing the group and the replays?

Yes! Stacey, our wonderful training coordinator, is ready to help. Just email her, [email protected] with any questions, even on the mornings when Kristine is live streaming.

I’m struggling to adapt to the ever-evolving demands of being a teacher, I’m worried this will add to my load?

Quite the opposite in fact, this group will give you the tools you need to be able to craft transformational classes quickly and easily. Many people in our community rely on Kristine’s teaching to keep their classes fresh and fun and they have grown their student base directly as a result of being here.

I struggle to maintain my own consistent yoga practice because I am so busy, how will this help?

It is so difficult in today’s fast-paced world to make time for self-care activities - but committing to a regular yoga practice, believe it or not, makes you use your time more efficiently, which reminds me of the famous Gandhi quote: “I have so much to accomplish today that I must meditate for two hours instead of one." Science is not my thing, will this group be over my head?

After 15 years of studying the neuroscience of yoga and 21 years of training yoga teachers Kristine has mastered how to present the information in a relatable and accessible way so that even someone with a fear of science can easily grasp and apply the concepts.

I have no marketing skills! I struggle to promote what I teach, how will this program help?

We hear you - Kristine felt completely clueless as to how to promote her classes for years, but she has learned to use the tools and she shares her knowledge widely in the group. (Many members say that she’s such a fantastic cheerleader and loves to celebrate their wins.)

Yes. Who will present the monthly workshops, classes & practices?

The founder of Subtle® Yoga, Kristine Weber MA, C-IAYT, ERYT500, YACEP will be the sole presenter until at least December 31, 2025. If Kristine has a personal reason for missing a class, content will be released as soon as possible. We will notify everyone in an announcement post.

What platform will The Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society meet on?

Facebook. And, all the videos are uploaded to our course platform, Kajabi, after they are recorded live on Facebook.

I won’t be able to attend the live online sessions, is it still worth joining?

Yes! All the sessions are recorded and then filed neatly in the relevant section in Facebook and Kajabi for easy access for you to watch for the first time - AND to return to time and time again. We already have over 650 members from all over the world enjoying both live and recorded sessions.

How long will I have access to the recorded workshops, classes & practices? 

This is a membership - and like any membership, as long as you remain a member of the Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society, you can return to these videos time and time again. They will be neatly filed in both Facebook and Kajabi for easy access. The Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society will remain operational until at least June 30, 2027 at which time we’ll make an assessment on the viability of the group.

When will the virtual workshops, classes & practices be each month? 

The first four Wednesdays of every month at 9:30am ET. Here’s the monthly schedule:

1st Wednesday - 90 minute Workshop (30 minute lecture + 60 minutes asana practice)

2nd Wednesday - 30-40 minute Asanas + Pranayama

3rd Wednesday - 30-40 minute Asanas + Meditation

4th Wednesday - 60 minute Asana Class

* Please note that during 5 Wednesday months, no live class will be held on the last Wednesday. Some months there are slight adjustments, but we will always let you know as far ahead of time as possible.

If you can’t join live, the recordings are filed in the group for easy access for you to watch for the first time or to return to time and time again.

How long do I have to sign up for? Is there a minimum?

You may choose a rolling monthly membership or save by choosing the yearly option. You may cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]; please contact us 2-3 days before your next payment to allow us sufficient time to cancel it. There are no refunds on the Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society™, under any circumstances. If you are not 100% sure that the Society is for you, please choose the monthly subscription option rather than the annual option.

Can I get my money back?

No, there is a strict no returns policy on the Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society™. If you are not 100% sure that the Society is for you please choose the monthly subscription option rather than the annual option and give it a try.

What are member expectations in The Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society?

In order to create a safe, supportive community, we ask folks to follow common-sense rules around online behavior to ensure that we maintain a positive community environment for all members. Continuous harassment or inappropriate comments will result in warnings and anyone who persists will be evicted from the Society without refunds. Fortunately, we are an amazing group and we've never had any problems!

How do I cancel my membership?

Simply email [email protected] and we will cancel your payment plan, remove you from the Facebook group, and revoke your Kajabi access. Be sure to do this 2-3 days before your next payment is due so we are able to process it in time.

If I leave The Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society, can I rejoin at the same rate?

If you’d like to resubscribe you are more than welcome to join again! Membership will  be offered at whatever the current subscription rate is.

I can't afford the membership fee, do you offer scholarships?

No one who wants to be an active and contributing member of the Resilience Society™ will be turned away due to lack of funds. Email Stacey at [email protected] and we'll sort something out for you.

When can I join The Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society?

You may join The Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society at any time of the month or year. We have deliberately made the content non-linear so that you can dive in and out of the content to meet your needs. Each month has a set theme and the workshops, practices and classes in that month are all devoted to the same theme. BUT, there is no prerequisite content for you to start a new month (we recommend you do Unit/Guide #1 first just to get acquainted).

There are myriad ways to gain the knowledge and skills you need to master practicing and teaching slow, mindful yoga.

Maybe you’d be happy with Google and YouTube as mentors?

BUT if you want to learn from an accomplished mind-body expert with over:

  • 15 years of study of the neuroscience of yoga
